From here on Black needs to keep an eye on the f6-square to avoid a fork.

13...♘f6?

But this is wrong. The bad thing about this theoretical line is that one mistake is enough to jeopardize the game.

The correct move was 13...♘d5!.

analysis diagram

It gets a piece out of the possible fork and itself threatens to win the bishop pair, which would cancel out White’s initiative: 14.♗g1 ♘f4 15.♖ae1 0-0 (White can’t save the bishop as 16.♗c4 loses to 16...d5) and if 16.c4, 16...♘xd3 17.♕xd3 d5 wins.

The damage is already done.

14.♘xf6+ ♗xf6 15.c4 ♕d7 16.d5⩱

This bungs up the bishop on b7, leaving White with a positional advantage.
